The upgraded version of Webforecast does not support Internet explorer
Beginning with Webforecast version 6.3 you are no longer able to log in to WebForecast using the web browser Internet Explorer.
- Why are you updating Webforecast to 6.3?
Webforecast is being updated to eliminate Silverlight (a Microsoft product that will reach end-of-life) and provide a modern and up-to-date web application.
- What have changed?
We have developed a new calendar using more modern technologies.
- How will that affect how I work with Webforecast?
All the easy to use features remains the same, so Webforecast should provide the same efficient and intuitive way of working for all users.
- Which browsers work with this new version of Webforecast?
Most modern browsers such as Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge works.
- Can I still use my Internet Explorer web browser to access Webforecast?
No, unfortunately, Internet Explorer itself will become unsupported by June 2022. IE 11, the last and current version, was released in October 2013.
